Our Story
Our journey began in 2022, from the comfort of our kitchen. Leigh Abbey Home started as a hobby, creating clean-burning, non-toxic candles for
ourselves, family, and friends. What began as a simple pastime quickly evolved into a passion for candle making, transforming from a wonderful gift-giving opportunity to what is now a growing business.
Eventually needing a larger space, we expanded into a small candle studio. Here, we craft beautiful rustic-meets-classic candles for homes, businesses, and soon-to-be special events and wholesale. We are proud to offer our services locally and across Canada.
Inspiration and Heritage
What's in a name? Leigh Abbey Home is inspired by the owner’s grandmother's place of birth: Stoneleigh Abbey, a picturesque country house south of
Coventry, England. This inspiration is more than just a name; it embodies the essence of our brand - traditional classic products for the home with a love of nature and beautiful surroundings. Our hope is that our small business will continue to
honour her legacy and our family heritage.
